On 1 January 2019, my position in the Department of Public Administration and Sociology at Erasmus University Rotterdam (NL) was made permanent. My new tenured position is Assistant Professor of Social Science Research Methods, reflecting my contributions to the Department’s methodological training for Sociologists, Public Administrators and student in the interdisciplinary program in the Management of International Social Challenges. Along side this teaching, I will continue my research into family change, developing new research lines at the intersection of family and work.
I will deeply miss my colleagues and students at the University of Southampton. It has been an honor, a privilege, and a pleasure to work in the Department of Social Statistics and Demography and with the ESRC Centre for Population Change.
At the same time, I am excited to continue my intellectual and scientific growth within the DPAS community at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I look forward to the continued and future collaborations!
